Autumn Poets

Hello Everyone!

Autumn is coming to an end in a couple of weeks and Chobots wants YOU to write some poetry! The details are as follows:

• Poetry can be freestyle, there doesn't need to be too much repetition.
• Any length is allowed.
• The poem of course must be about autumn.
• The use of puns is a bonus
• The use of rhymes is a bonus
• The use of word play is a bonus
• DO NOT plagiarism any piece poetry off the internet! If this is discovered, you will be disqualified.

This Week's News: Video

Hello Everybody!
Chobots is hosting a new video contest! Here are the rules:

• Video makers must have the theme of 'Sports Day'
• The video has to be at least 1 minute long!
• It must include 2 Chobots at the very least!

Trust me, if there's one thing about video making, is that it's always hard. Try out the easy programs like Windows Movie Maker (try Windows Live Movie Maker for better results). Nathan has given us some excellent tips on the main blog, so here they are (of course in my own words).

• Think of a good storyline, if you're going to make a video, there's got to be some sort of plot.
• Record the movie! If you don't have any recording software, here's some to name a few. (I've also put in some of my opinions). Use CamStudio or HyperCam on Windows. They're both free. Or if you're a Mac user like myself, use QuickTime Player's Screen Recorder which is automatically installed on your Mac. Or use Camtasia.
• After recording everything, edit using any video editors like Windows Movie Maker, Windows Live Movie Maker, iMovie (best results for Macs) and etc.
• After you have edited the movie, save and upload to a video website like Vimeo, but best recommended of Youtube. Get permission from your parents first! Afterwards, send in your video in the comments on the main blog at blog.chobots.net.

The contest is until the 23rd of November. The winners will get awesome prizes as usual!

Welcome to my new Chobots Blog!
I've had many unsuccessful blogs, but this is a great new blog!
I have Photoshop for awesome new headers!

This Week's News: 
The Journalist Program is underway for November! Bloggers will once again have a chance to have the coveted Journalist Badge. The rules are the same as usual.

•  Publish original content. This means Journalists are allowed to copy content as long as it's in their own words. However, pictures from the main blog are allowed.
• Regularly be in-game and help in the community. Journalists have kind of the same role as agents: helping others and being nice. You also need to contribute out of Chobots by knowing about the latest news. If you have Twitter or Facebook as well, reply to the tweets and posts by Chobots.

To become a Journalist, bloggers will need to post a comment on the main blog post with their username. The journalists will be announced in a new post very soon! Because I've just made the blog, I won't be going to the running until next month in December. Good luck everybody!
